Plans, tokens, and usage

How analysis tokens are metered, what Basic, Plus, Pro, and Team include, the Billing page, top-up packs, auto refill and Yolo Mode, and billing history.

Tokens

Analysis is metered in tokens. 1 token analyzes 1 minute of source video, so a two-hour stream uses 120 tokens whether it produces 5 Moments or 50. Tokens are charged when an analysis starts and returned automatically if it fails on our side. Reviewing, scheduling, and publishing are never metered; you only spend tokens when SonnetClip analyzes media, whether that is a VOD you picked or a broadcast Auto-track caught for you.

Every account gets its first analysis free, for any stream up to 12 hours, no plan or card required. It is the best way to see what SonnetClip finds in your content before you commit to anything.

Two kinds of tokens

Your plan's monthly tokens reset with every billing period and do not roll over. Pack tokens you buy never expire; they sit on your balance until used.

Plans

Both billing surfaces open on yearly prices shown per month. Prices and a side-by-side are also on the pricing page.

Basic is free for good and includes the brand you start with. Plus opens posting, the brand voice, and your own watermark. Pro lifts the brand cap and adds X and Reddit. Team is a Pro workspace for five people with one pooled balance; see Team plan.

The Billing page

Billing in the sidebar opens Plan and usage: three cards at the top (your brands used against your plan, your current plan with Manage billing, and your token meter with any free streams you hold), then the plan cards with a Monthly / Yearly toggle and a Plans / Buy tokens switch.

Plan and usage
A Team workspace: brands, the current plan, and the token meter, then the plan grid on monthly and yearly, and the Buy tokens tab with the four packs and auto refill.

The plan cards know where you are: your plan reads Current plan, the next ones read Upgrade to, and a step down asks you to confirm after showing exactly what changes (tokens, seats, Auto-track channels, Moments per analysis, analyses at once, the watermark, posting platforms, and Auto-approve turning off). Subscribers can switch between monthly and yearly from their own card. Manage billing opens the payment portal for receipts, your card, and canceling; canceling keeps your plan active through the period you already paid for.

The token card at the bottom of the sidebar shows the same meter every day, with the one upgrade action that fits your plan: Upgrade to Plus on Basic, to Pro on Plus, to Team on Pro, and Buy tokens on Team.

Top-up packs

If you run out before the month does, one-time packs keep you going, on any plan:

PackPriceAbout
100 tokens$32 hours of video
500 tokens$108 hours
1,500 tokens$2525 hours
5,000 tokens$7583 hours

Pack tokens never expire. When an analysis needs more tokens than you have, the dialog says exactly how many you need and how many you have, and offers a pack right there. Buy packs often and the Billing page tells you when a plan would have cost less for the same tokens.

Auto refill

Subscribers can turn on auto refill under Buy tokens, or with the checkbox on the plan card when subscribing. When your balance drops below a level you pick (500, 1,000, or 2,000 tokens), SonnetClip buys your chosen pack (500, 1,500, or 5,000 tokens; 500 by default) on the card already on your subscription and sends a receipt. Every refill adds 10% bonus tokens: a 500 pack credits 550, a 5,000 pack credits 5,500, at the normal pack price. You set a monthly limit (3,000, 10,000, or 30,000 tokens, or no limit) and can turn it off at any time. A declined card is never retried, and three failures in a row turn auto refill off and notify you. Nothing charges automatically unless you switched it on yourself.

Yolo Mode

A second opt-in inside auto refill for people who never want an analysis to stop. If a stream needs more tokens than you have, SonnetClip buys exactly enough on the spot and the analysis runs. Yolo purchases buy exactly the shortfall, so they carry no bonus. You set a monthly budget ($25, $50, or $100) or choose Uncapped; once the budget is spent, the analysis asks you to top up like normal. Every purchase sends a receipt.

Billing history

Billing history, beside Plan and usage, lists every token in and out of your balance, newest first: analyses, refunds, token purchases, auto refills, gifts, and referral rewards. There are no surprises: support can answer "where did my tokens go" from the same list you see.

A month of use: every analysis charge, the token pack bought, and the signup grant, newest first.

Who manages billing

In a workspace of one, you. In a team workspace, the owner holds billing; admins manage brands and members but never the plan. The Billing entry only appears in the sidebar for whoever may use it.
