Accounts
Tracked channels on the left, your TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and X accounts on the right, each with one rule and one posting style.
One page, from streams to socials
The Accounts page shows where your streams come from and where your clips go. On a desktop the tracked Channels sit in the left column and your social accounts in the right one, with an arrow between them: broadcasts come in on the left, clips go out on the right. On a phone the two halves are tabs.
Supported platforms
SonnetClip publishes to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and X. Connections use hosted OAuth: you sign in with the platform directly, and SonnetClip never sees your password.
Connecting an account
The social accounts column shows one card per supported platform. Unconnected cards carry a Connect button; connected cards show the account handle and connection status. After the OAuth flow completes, the account becomes available as a destination for approved Moments. You can connect accounts during onboarding or at any point later, and filter the column by All, Connected, or Disconnected.
If a platform expires your login, the card switches to Needs reconnect and sends to that account fail until you reconnect. Reconnecting takes the same sign-in flow; afterwards, retry the failed entries from the Schedule or the Post.
Two choices per card
Each card keeps to the two decisions that matter, so picking where to post takes seconds:
- When to post: which Moments go out on this platform, from most to least hands-on. Manual shows the destination picker every time, Super likes posts only the Moments you super like, and Approvals posts every approved Moment. Available once the account is connected (see Review for how the rule is first set).
- Posting style: how fast to post. Casual is one post a day, Consistent three, Aggressive five, and Plaid ten, around the clock. Picking one sets the platform's posts per day and posting window for you. If you fine-tune those values later, the card shows Custom.
Platforms your plan does not include
Basic publishes nowhere (downloads only), Plus opens TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram, and Pro adds X. A platform outside your plan still shows its card and its Brand Kit page, frosted, with the plan that opens it and an upgrade button on top. Connect appears the moment the plan does.
The gear
The gear in each card's top right corner opens the platform's page in Brand Kit with everything else: connection status, the When to post rule, the posting style with its concrete posts per day and posting window, the clip layout, and burned captions with a live preview. Any change you save becomes your standing choice for every future approval to that platform, and all of it can be set before the account is even connected.
Download settings
You do not need a connected account to get finished videos out of SonnetClip. The Download settings link at the top of the social accounts column opens the Downloads page in Brand Kit, where you pick the layout and captions of every approved Moment's download-ready file. The defaults work with zero setup, and every approved Moment produces its file automatically, ready to grab from the Post's Download button and share anywhere you like.
Destination preferences
Your standing destination preferences decide where approved Moments go by default. They are set the first time you approve a Moment in Review and can be changed here whenever your posting strategy shifts. A common setup is Always publish on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, with X set to Super-likes only so that only your strongest, most timely clips land there. The Best Practices guides cover what each platform rewards.
Disconnecting
Removing an account stops future publications to it. Posts already published stay live on the platform; SonnetClip simply no longer delivers there. Your platform settings (style, cadence, captions) are kept, so reconnecting later picks up where you left off. Connecting accounts never spends analysis minutes (see Billing).
